Stopped over here last night to get a pizza for the family. I'll admit I drove past this place a hundred times. And I'm glad I finally stopped. The pizza was great. The service was second to none. Very happy I made the decision to finally give it a chance. Don't judge a book by its cover!

Pollino's is a very interesting spot and a pretty good conversation starter if you're talking to people from this area of Delco. A house with a shed turned kitchen on someone's lawn with a patio serving food? Why not? ..... I'll admit the pics of the pizza and supporting a fellow Sicilian (Sam) helped push me to visit, but the entire operation and their story intrigued me. I'll skip the story of their beginnings, but I just felt like I went back in time pulling along side a road to grab a bite to eat. Lots of shade trees, a converted shed into a kitchen and a large picnic gazebo/patio greeted me as I pulled up. (No bathroom on premises) Then I met Kayla (pronounced Ki-yla not kay-la) and Sam. They are nice welcoming, hard working people who made sure everything about my orders was right. First visit, I tried their cheesesteak with hot peppers. It was on an Amoroso roll. The portion was decent, flavors were good, little grease, solid melting of cheese in with the meat and the hot peppers provided just the right amount of kick and flavor. In hindsight I should have gotten the roll toasted a bit, but overall it was an average cheesesteak. Can't say anything bad about it. I ordered three pizzas to go the other day and they were tasty. The dough is made fresh daily. I haven't seen large thin crust NY slices in Delco before so that was a first. Couple observations, the pizzas are 20" so your slices will measure about 9" to 9 1/2" long. The crust was thin, crispy, had a nice light char and stood straight as an arrow. It's a little heavier on the sauce side which is thick, a little acidic with a sweet/spicy bite to it. I would have liked a bit more cheese to even out the cheese/sauce ratio. For $15 a pizza, I thought it was a good value, they do sell by the slice at $3. I will definitely stop in again to try their other offerings. A few people waiting for their food recommended the breakfast sandwiches and roast beef sandwich. Thank you Kayla and Sam!

Awesome little shack! Don't let the appearance fool you. The food is really good and the customer service is phenomenal! On top of that, you can't beat the prices. A friend and I ordered two breakfast platters and a slice of pizza and it only came out to 15 dollars! If you're thinking about trying them out, please don't hesitate. You won't regret it.

A little taste of Sicily in Chester, PA. The pizza at this place is scrumptious. Thin and crispy crust with just the right amount amount of chew, delicious sauce & flavorful pepperoni. Cheesesteaks look great as did the fresh cut fries. I heard that the roast beef sandwiches are also really good. Casual and comfortable outdoor dining area. Owners Kyla and Sam are super nice and very welcoming. Looking forward to going back in the warm weather to try some of their other Italian delicacies and a milkshake.

I love this place! My favorite thing about it is that it's unique. These awesome people just built a restaurant in their yard. Yes it is inspected and legal, and their food is awesome. I usually get the chicken cheesesteak but their pizza is really good too. My husband always gets the roast beef and I haven't tried it yet, but it looks delicious. We drove by this place about 100 times before finally stopping in and trying their food. Just stop and check it out. I regret missing out on the food all of those many times that I drove by. They were also open minded enough to let our nonprofit show up and buy pizza slices for random people as an act of kindness! Support a locally owned family business! Next time you're driving by, stop and grab a slice or a sandwich. You won't regret it. Okay last comment from me: I just realized they are a BYOB?! Yep, definitely going back soon and bringing some beers!

Holy Mackerel! COVID who??? I hope if you are near Chester you check out Pollino's. In the year of COVID this guy turned his side yard, shed and beautiful shade trees into a food oasis in Chester (fully inspected and licensed oasis). Decent 48 cheesesteak. I will be back for a $4 breakfast sandwich and pizza on home (shed) made dough.

The highlight of Pollino’s menu is undoubtedly the pizza. Those who favor a thin crust will not be disappointed; the dough is prepared fresh daily and results in crisp, flavorful slices. John L. noted the large 20” pizzas, with each slice measuring a satisfying 9 to 9.5 inches. The sauce is a standout with its thick, slightly acidic profile balanced by a sweet and spicy kick. Guests have also mentioned the texture of the crust, with a light char that adds to the overall experience.

Don’t overlook their sandwiches, either. The cheesesteaks, served on traditional Amoroso rolls, have garnered praise for their generous flavors and hearty portions, making them a solid choice if you're looking for something hearty.
